Our SAWC BatHawk pilot saves two orphaned Rhino calves.

"Yesterday was a very special day, we located two very young orphaned rhino calves from the air, (mothers obviously shot by poachers). The two young animals were successfully darted yesterday afternoon and airlifted by helicopter to a rhino sanctuary near Nelspruit.

So grateful that they have been given another chance at life (under the circumstances) as they would certainly not have survived for much longer on their own.

Thanks to all the staff, field rangers, vets and chopper pilots for making this operation possible. And once again another success for our Bathawk aircraft, without this amazing little aircraft this operation would not have been possible!"
